Vanessa Cobb is the Montgomery Central High School Director of Bands. Prior to Montgomery Central, she had been teaching at Houston County High School and Middle School where she was the Director of Bands. Mrs. Cobb has previously taught in CMCSS where under her direction, bands received superior ratings at the MTSBOA Concert Festival and performed at the TMEA State Concert Festival. During her time at Northwest High School, she was the conductor of the concert band and marching band, as well as the pep band. She also taught guitar and dual enrollment music appreciation through the University of Tennessee at Martin. Under her direction, the Northwest band program had the distinct honor of being the sweepstakes winner of the Southern Star Music Festival in March of 2017, in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2017, Mrs. Cobb was named the Green Apple Finalist for the Clarksville Montgomery County Education Association and was the recipient of the Tennessee Education Association's New Distinguished Educator for grades 9 - 12. Previously, Mrs. Cobb was the 6th grade band director for White House Heritage Elementary, K-2 general music teacher at Robert F. Woodall Primary School, and the assistant band director for White House Heritage High School.
Mrs. Cobb completed a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting and a Master of Music in Education at Austin Peay State University in 2013 where she was named an Outstanding Graduate Assistant. While a master’s student at APSU, Mrs. Cobb was the graduate assistant for the athletic bands. She helped with rehearsals and wrote marching band drill. She also helped to organize and efficiently run the Governor’s Own Marching Band. In 2014, Mrs. Cobb was named the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at Austin Peay State University.
She is a member of the National Association for Music Educators, the Middle Tennessee Band and Orchestra Association, the Tennessee Music Educators Association, the Tennessee Bandmasters' Association, the Clarksville Montgomery County Education Association, the Tennessee Educators Association, and was recently nominated and voted into the American School Band Director’s Association.

Stefan Logue is an the incoming instrumental music teacher at Montgomery Central High School for the 2023-24 school year, taking over guitar and general music courses while assisting with the concert and marching bands.
Currently, Mr. Logue is the instrumental music teacher at Soddy Daisy Middle School - where he has grown the concert band by over two hundred percent, co-created a musical theater curriculum, and started a Modern Band (pop/rock music) program which has expanded music education opportunities for the Soddy Daisy community. He is also an assistant band director and show designer/music arranger for the Soddy Daisy High School band - creating unique performances which have won dozens of awards, including a 2021 feature on FloMarching.com. Prior teaching and staff positions include Rucker-Stewart Middle School, Gallatin High School, Westmoreland Schools, and Livingston Academy High School.
Mr. Logue graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2012, where he was the principal trumpet player for the TTU Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band, Troubador's Jazz Band, and Golden Eagle Marching Band. He is a member of the East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association, the Tennessee Educator's Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary band fraternity.
